What is review of products and services?
A definition of the term “review” given by the Princeton.Edu is “an essay or article that gives a critical evaluation (as of a book or play. Another definitions are “a periodical that publishes critical essays on current affairs or literature or art (Princeton.Edu)” and “an evaluation of a publication, such as a movie, video game, musical composition, book, or a piece of hardware like a car, appliance, or computer. (Wikipedia.Org)“
In other words, your review of the products or services is your evaluation on the products and services you are reviewing. It contains the positive and negative things you found on a particular product or service. You can also include in your review your comments and recommendations about the product or service that you are reviewing.
How can we earn money from Writing Reviews?
There are actually several ways in making money from the reviews you made. Few of these ways are:
- Displaying CPC ads along with the reviews. CPC ads are ads that pay you for every clicks that your blog’s visitors made on the ads. Ads served by Google Adsense, Bidvertiser, Adbrite, and other similar ad network are examples of CPC ads.
- Displaying affiliate ads. These ads are served by online stores and other affiliate companies where you can earn from the products sold or from every sign-ups made under your referrals. I displayed several ads on this blog (SELaplana) that are considered as affiliate ads like the ads of Paypal, Performancing for Advertisers, Performancing for Publishers, YesAsia, etc.
- Accepting Sponsors for the sponsored review or post. Actually, last year I was earning lots of Dollars from sponsors who paid me to write review of their products and services. I found those sponsors through the sponsored review ads broker such as SponsoredPosts, PayPerPost, ReviewMe, Blogitive, etc. What you need to do is to sign-up an account with them as blogger or publisher then add your blog to their systems. Once your blog is approved, then you can start accepting sponsored review and you’ll be paid for from $5 to $500 depending on your blog’s standing on Google’s PR, Subscribers’ number, Traffic, and other stats. And one thing that you should do is to follow the terms and policies of these brokers.
PS. Just arrived from a short visit to Cebu City. Few photos I collected will be posted at my gallery blog.
